Hi! I'm Helen

Thank you for stopping by and taking an interest in what I do.

​

I am an illustrator and educator based in the Midlands, UK. I graduated with a BA (Hons) Fine Art from Middlesex University in 2003 and later studied MA Illustration at Falmouth University after a decade of teaching art.

​

My work comes from observation and I like colour, textures and patterns which all crop up in my work somewhere.

​

When I was younger, I used to decorate my living room door with collaged paper cut outs. I don't decorate living room doors now, but like to create illustrations using my own mark making samples combined with drawings.
